How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell
together in unity!
Please pray especially for unity this month – ongoing unity within Revive Israel, in the emerging Tikkun Global organisation / family of Messianic ministries which we belong to, amongst believers and congregations in the land and between the body of Messiah in Israel and the nations. We are desperate to see the Lord command even more of His blessing!
Getting to Know the Team – Sarah Singerman
Congratulations to Sarah, who has just gained her Tour Guide license with the Ministry of Tourism. Her desire is to facilitate welcoming international visitors into experiencing God's heart for the area through a Biblical, prophetic perspective, not only in Israel but along the Highway of Isaiah 19. Please ask the Lord to help her achieve this well!
Sarah served in the Spokesperson Unit in the Israeli Defence Forces and continues to work in communications in Revive Israel, also serving as a worship leader. She has a passion for, “Seeing revival in Israel through intergenerational unity and love, especially between the sons of Isaac and Ishmael, and nations walking in their destiny”. She is one of seven siblings and in her free time loves to travel, enjoy nature, music, and spend time with family and friends.
“The children we teach are Israel’s future worship, dance, and art leaders – it is a real privilege to have access to Revive Israel’s facilities!”, commented Eti who coordinates the Jubilee School of music here each week – a service which is accessible to low income families because of subsidies you make possible!
Revive Israel supports the local and national Messianic community at our site in Yad HaShmona. Our premises are regularly busy with children gathering to learn and have fun, believers fellowshipping, praying, worshipping, and leaders meeting to plan. In some cases, through your generosity, we are able to additionally support individuals or projects through direct financial grants. Local activities include:
Beit HaYeshua – Partner Ministry
The ministry of Beit HaYeshua continues to bear much fruit, with 15 drug-addicted or alcoholic people coming to faith and having their lives transformed in 2018. Dima is in his early 40s and was an atheist, addicted to heroin for 20 years when he came for help. According to centre manager Roni, “He was a true example of someone walking in darkness. He came to faith and was set free from drugs. Now he truly walks in the light, an example to others of someone who is happy, helpful and responsible.” The linked Beit HaYeshua congregation helps to disciple those who come to faith through the rehabilitation center. Please pray for continued healing, deliverance and restoration in the lives of precious broken people.
Revive Israel is privileged to partner with a local Arab ministry. The media outreach section is growing quickly, reaching 30,000 weekly through Facebook, and focusing both on West Bank / East Jerusalem and Gaza. One of the leaders commented, “Recently a new East Jerusalem family came to the Lord and are ready to be baptized. Also, in Gaza two people came to the Lord last year and one of them is now facing great persecution - please pray for him. We are trying to move him to the West Bank”. The internet teaching ministry is also growing quickly, from 46 seekers in 2017 to 182 in 2018 – all seeking to be transformed through God’s Word. The team additionally started a new YouTube channel for systematic teaching of the Bible, enabling many more to engage. Please pray for all the new believers and the many seekers, for the stirring of a great revival in this community.
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
