The reason for Israel being God’s chosen people is to bless all the nations of
the earth. But Israel took it as a gift only to itself turning the blessing to
a curse. Likewise, the Church took Israel’s initial rejection of Messiah as God’s
dismissal of Israel altogether. The only way to reverse the curse is repentance
between the two of them.
